The School has a common dining Hall for all the boarders and entitled members of the staff. The School provides a wholesome nutritious diet (both veg. and non veg.) to the students keeping in view their choice and preferences. The daily meals are prepared and served as per the weekly menu, duly approved by the mess committee and the Principal. Regular meeting of the mess committee are held once in a month. The Registrar is the Chairman and the House Master and Hostel Superintendents and boys representatives from each house are its member. Besides there is a catering qualified Mess Manager who looks after the Mess ,assisted by a catering Assistant and other experienced mess employees.

The school encourages healthy competition among the houses to excel collectively in studies, games and other developmental activities. The boys take active part in the administration of their house. Each house has a House Caption, Vice-Captain and Perfect who are responsible for maintaining discipline and orderliness within the Houses.

The health of the boys is regularly attended to by a qualified Doctor assisted by a Pharmacist. The school has its own Medical Inspection Room. Cases of serious illness are reported to the parent immediately. All serious cases are also referred to District Sadar Hospital Hospital, Purulia.
