The school Library is enriched with Books on various subjects in English, Hindi, and Bengali languages. A large number of Newspapers and periodicals are available in the reading room and House Dormitories. The Library is most integral part of the school consisting of innumerous books on different subjects. 

Craft Section: It has well equipped workshop for teaching students the various crafts involved in carpentry work, which is one of the  compulsory subjects of grading under Socially Useful and Productive Work (SUPW) up to +2 level. The section is looked after by a qualified Instructor.

Computer training has been introduced as a part of School curriculum and as a Subject at +2 Level. All the students get the training in Computer and access to the facility of e-mail and internet. All cadets from classes VI to XII are given training in the courses like C++ , Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, FrontPage, GW-BASIC, Visual Basic, HTML. Cadets make projects and represent the school at district and state level Computer Fairs and bring laurels to the school.

Well equipped laboratories exist in the school for Physics, Chemistry and Biology where the cadets are encouraged to learn the things practically. Different types of practical are performed. Students exhibit their chart, models and projects during the Annual exhibition.

To ensure smooth physical and mental development, the boys are provided with a large variety of games facilities-Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Squash, Badminton etc. The school maintains adequate number of well equipped grounds/courts including an obstacle course for the purpose. Further, boys are provided with the facilities of a large number of Field & Track events in sports-their performance culminates every year in the Annual Sports held every year.

Besides normal academic, co-curricular and associate activities, this institution following the healthy tradition of an ideal 'gurukul', always endeavors to draw out the best in each individual cadet. Keeping their complete personality development in view 20 clubs- English, Bengali, Hindi, Literary & Editorial club, Physics, chemistry, Maths, biology, computer, geography, social service, library, art & craft, dramatics & music and yoga , each under the supervision of a teacher and organization of a student  in charge functions regularly. The efforts of the cadets culminates in preparation of models, charts and a lot many exhibits which are put up to annual exhibition, sports field and Annual function.
